Hollywood is set to produce three Biblically-related films!
Looks like after producing sci-fi films, action-packed thrillers, vampire-related love flicks, transforming vehicles, horror films, critically-acclaimed drama movies, disaster movies, and magical-themed flicks, Hollywood is set to produce yet another big production and big budgeted films with Bible-related themes and there's no stopping them! In the coming months, Paramount Pictures and Warner Bros., with possible directors Steven Spielberg and Mel Gibson, will be releasing some big budgeted films with impressive CGIs and as reported, Bibilically-themed movie pictures.
Paramount Pictures has announced the production of the movie, Noah. The movie project will star Dark Knight man himself, Christian Bale. Meanwhile, Warner Bros. will or might be producing Gods and Kings, a movie about the life of Moses (I guess this is somewhat a remake of The Ten Commandments, but then again, this is only my guess).
Meanwhile, Judah Maccabee, the leader if the Maccabean revolt against the Seleucid Empire and was acclaimed as one of the greatest warriors in Jewish history is also looking forward to roll the film anytime soon. The Jewish feast Hanukkah commemorates Judah Maccabee's heroism and the restoration of Jewish worship at the temple in Jerusalem. It is slated to be done by director Mel Gibson, who was known to direct the critically-acclaimed The Passion of Christ, which drew criticisms in the Catholic Churches, worldwide. It is said that the Jewish community has not given Mr. Gibson a well-received nod for the coming film project this is due to the accusations of Gibson has made some anti-Semitic statements.
