Lovi Poe topbills "Aswang"; Movie Coined as Philippine Version of "Twilight"?
Regal Entertainment, Inc., the movie production outfit of the Regal Matriarch, Mother Lily Monteverde, is offering a thrilling vampire-esque post-Halloween movie through the release of "Aswang" starring Joem Bascon, Paulo Avelino, and Lovi Poe as the beautiful witch who falls in love with a good-looking assassin/bounty hunter, Paulo Avelino.
"Aswang" is about a lady who is an "abwak" or a hawkman who falls in love with an assassin/bounty hunter. The abwaks is a group of people who hunts and kills ordinary people for their food.
Lovi Poe is said to have an additional sexy scene taping in the movie that she declined at first because she felt it wasn't needed in the story, but Mother Lily insisted that it will be included in the movie. The sexy scene is a steamy love scene with Paulo Avelino. Director Jerrold Tarog artistically and tastefully done the love scene. According to Lovi, the love scene made her character more "human" which gives us a clue that Lovi's character in "Aswang" is somewhat not human at all. Below is the fill trailer of the movie "Aswang". "Aswang" starring Lovi Poe, Paulo Avelino, Joem Bascon, Niña Jose, Jillian Ward, and introducing Albie Casiño and a whole lot more, is showing today, November 2, 2011.
