Warner Bros' "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" Blu-Ray Will Have 25 Minutes Extended Scenes


Warner Bros. Home Entertainment is going to release an extended Blu-Ray versions of the sequel to the "The Hobbit" movie series franchise, "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" which will have an additional 25 minutes of never-before-seen scenes from the Peter Jackson trilogy masterpiece.

The longer version of the said movie is reported to be available through online purchases in late October. The movie's extra footage will extend individual scenes are available on the Blu-ray 3D and regular Blu-ray editions.

The Blu-Ray 3D and Blu-Ray editions will also include new bonus features which includes audio commentary with Peter Jackson and Philippa Boyens, and some documentaries related in making of the film trilogy.

The release of the Blu-Ray versions of the "The Hobbit" movie is said to be a perfect timing for the upcoming "The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies" movie that is set to be released in movie theaters coming December 17. It is not clear yet whether the release of the Blu-Ray versions of "The Hobbit" movie sequel is going to happen in Philippine markets and record bars.
