The computer animated monster or kaiju film from Japan is coming on Netflix this month following the events that happened in the first installment of the anime movie series entitled "Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters". The battle is now in far more danger and things are going to be so tough, the anime promises more destructions and action than the first installment.

Originally shown in Japan last May 2018, Netflix partnered with Toho Animation in producing this film and finally going to be shown in the popular entertainment website. We can expect an edgier animation and crsipier color texture as the city burns down and destroyed due to fighting monsters and a bunch of people trying to save the world.

  1. Godzilla: City on the Edge of Battle takes some promising ingredients, but cooks them into an unpalatable meal. We never really understand what the protagonists are fighting for, and there's not even a satisfying scene of urban destruction (a Godzilla staple). It fails both emotionally and viscerally.
