"Hitman: Agent 47" Movie Review: A Damn Good Action Movie!

Perhaps the last time I saw a very good action movie that I really liked was when the Bruce Willis starrer-movie "A Good Day to Die Hard" was shown way back in 2013. The way the action scenes were presented in the last "Die Hard" movie was really good, I enjoyed every explosions, car chases, and gunshots deliberately thrown in the movie for entertainment purposes. The movie's message was clear -- to give entertainment to moviegoers by giving action-packed scenes with a twist of family drama.

*Recall the action-packed movie "A Good Day to Die Hard" in this movie review.

In a similar manner, the "Hitman: Agent 47" movie starring Rupert Friend gave a "right hit on target" feel after we have watched the film. At first, I doubted the movie after seeing the movie trailer of the film a few days back before the movie premiere screening, but after watching "Hitman: Agent 47" last night, I already knew that I misjudged the movie by its trailer.

If you are going to watch the movie trailer below, I guess you will also agree with me that the trailer already have presented the plot of the film: that Agent 47 is part of an underground experiment and the girl named Katia van Dees was somehow part of it, too! But I won't give any more of these to not spoil the film. The following is the movie trailer for "Hitman" Agent 47".

"Hitman: Agent 47" Movie Review

"Hitman: Agent 47" is based on the hit video game of the same title, which I haven't played before due to my lack of interest in playing video games. But anyway, gamer or not, I'm sure everyone who will watch this film will agree on me that the action scenes and the story as well of "Hitman: Agent 47" are just two of the movie's selling points among others. I like how they presented the film in a way that everyone will get what was going on with all the underground experiments and cloning and all that science stuff happening inside the laboratory.

Rupert Friend's portrayal of Agent 47 may not be that good as compared to other action stars in the past or his generation (although his acting is believable and good), but being a genetically-engineered agent with a lot of action moves in his body, a bitch face all throughout the movie, and a ruthless criminal-like attitude are what the moviegoers need in order to enjoy this film.

The "Hitman: Agent 47" movie is exciting to watch. It is loaded with unbelievable and remarkable stunts, exploding heads and bloodsheds (thanks to the point blank gunshots and sharp-shooting killings) and great martial arts movements, are all we need. To complete this action film's recipe, a surprising twist towards the end will be our final cherry on top (which by the way the movie executed perfectly!).

The "Hitman" Agent 47" showed us a different kind of "badass" in an action film. Damn good action scenes are so damn good, I was literally can't get hold of my seat every time an action scene is being shown... like every ten minutes or so!

If you are into or love action movies, or some spy-agent movies as well with a hint of bloodsheds and did I mention broken bones before, anyway, I highly recommended watching "Hitman: Agent 47" for blood-thirsty individuals who seek an alternative movie this week! Definitely an 8 out of 10 stars for entertainment value and story.
