Movie Review: ‘Jennifer Lopez: Dance Again’

‘Jennifer Lopez: Dance Again’ is a docu-concert of award-winning superstar Jennifer Lopez that goes behind the scenes of Lopez's first world tour. I can still remember seeing J Lo for the first time in the film "Selena" and she has been one of my favorite Latina superstar since then. "Waiting for Tonight" was one of her successful songs that launched her career back in the 90s. ‘Jennifer Lopez: Dance Again’ brings back nostalgic memories through her hits being interpreted live on her world tour. A film that shows J Lo's soft moments and her best performances on and off stage.

‘Jennifer Lopez: Dance Again’ is her gift for all her fans that couldn't watch the concert tour live. The cinematography of the whole film felt as if you are there, watching her every dance move and breathing the same air she breathes at the exact moment. Truly, a great experience seeing something this grand on the big screen will fascinate her fans.

The film lets the fans into a very intimate view of how Jennifer Lopez felt about music and her career. J Lo's journey might have been a crazy roller coaster ride but in the end she got herself together in one piece with the help of the people that loves her unconditionally.

The film revisits 65 cities and five continents, travelling 100,000 miles and reaching one million fans, producing 11,250 minutes of music, and requiring 500,000 sequins and 162 wardrobe changes. A must see film for every Jennifer Lopez fan.

"Dance Again" combines riveting musical performances with a raw and candid look at Lopez's personal and professional life over a defining six-month period, when she challenges herself to go on her first world tour with her two young children in tow.  Lopez, who is considered one of the most famous Latina entertainers in the world, begins the tour in South America and ends in Puerto Rico, where she held her first concert 11 years earlier.
