Movie Review: "Pudsey the Movie" a Fun Filled Family Film

A great film to that the whole family would enjoy, "Pudsey the Movie" would surely make everyone's heart melt with joy. Following his winning performance in Britain’s Got Talent last 2012, the charming Pudsey now stars in his own movie about a city stray dog who relocates to the countryside with his new loving family.

Entitled, “Pudsey: The Movie,” it follows the titular dog and his siblings Molly (Izzy Meikle-Smith), George (Spike White) and Tommy (Malachy Knights) as they move to the village of Chuffington-on-Sea with their mother Gail (Hynes).

The film will remind you of the warmth of the cute pig in "Babe" and the charm of "Charlotte's Web". I love how the opening salvo of the movie would show you several glimpses of Pudsey's misadventures in the city. There is definitely no dull moment in the entire film. Kids and kids at heart will surely love this little rascal from start to finish. I just love how Pudsey acts and not simply reacts on the scenes inthe movie. It seems as if he is doing everything naturally.

Dog lovers would surely love this fun filled film for the whole family. The picturesque scenes of the city and the farms provided a wonderful setting for the movie. The simplicity of the story and crazy antics of the furry cast would remind you of "101 Dalmatians". I also love how the story-line also focuses on the love and strength of being a family.

Nick Moore will direct the family film from a screenplay by Paul Rose. Vertigo Films’ Rupert Preston, Allan Niblo and James Richardson are producing with co-producer Simon Cowell’s Syco Entertainment.

Voiced by David Walliams,  the lovable mutt is smitten with his newfound family despite being independent for a long time. Untamed and adjusting to a whole new environment, he causes chaos in the village but foils the wicked schemes of a dastardly landowner (an enjoyably preposterous John Sessions).

“Pudsey The Movie” will open on August 27 exclusively in SM Cinemas nationwide from Silverline Inc.
