2011 Golden Globe Awards Winners: The Social Network, The Kids Are All Right
On January 16, 2011, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association has finally announce the winners of the 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. Last year's Best Movie Actress Sandra Bullock is one of the presenters of the awards.
The Social Network won the Best Motion Picture, Drama and The Kids Are All Right won the Best Motion Picture, Comedy or Musical. David Fincher took home the Best Director award for The Social Network.
The 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards recognizes the best motion picture as well as television achievement for the year 2010. The Golden Globe Awards is considered one of the most prestigious award-giving bodies next to the Academy Awards, which is set to release their nominations on January 25, 2011.
The movie The King's Speech has received seven nominations including the Best Motion Picture - Drama, Best Actor in a Motion Picture and Best Director in a Motion Picture. The Fighter and The Social Network both got six nods. Johnny Depp received two nominations for Best Actor in a Motion Picture for Alice in Wonderland and The Tourist.
