"Ang Tanging Ina Mo, Last Na 'To" movie trailer, cast, poster, and information!

Star Cinema recently released the movie trailer and poster to the third installment of the "Tanging Ina Series" entitled, "Ang Tanging Ina Mo, Last Na 'To" headed by the blockbuster tandems of Ai-Ai delas Alas, Eugene Domingo, and Director Wenn Deramas. It is remembered that the first "Ang Tanging Ina" series was shown way back in 2002, which introduced the character of Ina, as played by Ai-Ai delas Alas. Ina is blessed with 12 children from her three departed husbands in the first installment of the film. After the huge success on the big screen, the movie, "Ang Tanging Ina" became a hit comedy program (sitcom) on late Sunday night primetime television.

After 8 long years of doing the the "Tanging Ina" franchise, Eugene Domingo reprises her role as the ever-loyal, best friend forever, Rowena, who is now a well-off lady and willing to start a new family of her own. In the series of "Tanging Ina" movies, also in the television series, Ina is always seen with her long time best friend, Rowena. From being a best friend from the slums, to being the president's personal assistant, Rowena (Eugene Domingo) remained single, until this final movie installment, which she (Rowena) deserves the most.

The "Tanging Ina" franchise has several spin-offs during the course of 8 years. All of them stars Ai-Ai delas Alas which includes "Ang Cute Ng Ina Mo" (2007), "Ang Tanging Ina Nyong Lahat" (2008), and "Ang Tanging Pamilya: A Marry Go Round" (2009). Of all the franchises, Eugene Domingo is not seen together with Ai-Ai delas Alas in the movie, "Ang Tanging Pamilya: A Marry Go Round". Both "Ang Cute ng Ina Mo" and "Ang Tanging Pamilya" are separate and different stories from the "Ang Tanging Ina" series, however, similarities may be found because of several movie elements such as that in the title, plot, casts, and the director of the film. "Ang Tanging Ina Mo, Last Na 'To" summary/plot/synopsis

A few months after Ina left the position as the President to the Republic of the Philippines, she is back from the limelight of media and the people as she releases a book of her life in her journey as a mother to her children, and for once, as a mother to the people of the Philippines. Ina now lives a simple life with her beloved children, together with her long-time best friend, Rowena.

After a freak accident on a rooftop, Ina found herself doing an X-ray and medical examinations inside a hospital. The doctor who examined Ina's health told her that she only has 6 to 8 months to live due to the fractures found in her skull and some complications found in her medical results. Upon knowing this, Ina is having a hard time telling to her children that she only has a few months to live. In connection with her sickness, Ina is also having visions of her departed husbands. Will Ina be able to tell her children about her sickness? Will Ina and her family have a happily-ever after?

"Ang Tanging Ina Mo, Last Na 'To" Cast and Information

This last installment is said to be the reunion movie of the whole cast in the first "Ang Tanging Ina" movie. Marvin Agustin is making a comeback in this upcoming Star Cinema movie and also reprises his role as Juan, the eldest among Ina's children. Juan now has a family of his own. Meanwhile, all of the other cast members seen in the first installment of the movie are reunited in this last "Tanging Ina" movie installment except for Heart Evangelista, who is said did not show during tapings that is why the management decided to remove her character. Heart Evangelista plays the role of Portia or Por, the fourth child of Ina.

Edu Manzano did not also confirm his appearance to the last movie installment. Edu Manzano's character, Tony, was the first to the departed husbands of Ina. In this last movie installment, only three of the departed husbands were present. The late husbands of Ina were played by (in order) Edu Manzano, Ton-Ton Gutierrez, Jestoni Alarcon, and Dennis Padilla (Tanging Ina TV Series). Meanwhile, Marc Acueza is making a screen comeback.
