National Board of Review Top 10 Movies for 2009
To kick-off the Hollywood awards season, National Board of Review has announced its list of awardees for 2009, including its list of Top 10 Movies for 2009.
Awards from groups like National Board of Review and the Hollywood Foreign Press Association give filmmakers and actors prestige and help studios promote the films ahead of the Academy Awards on March 7.
Best Film: Up in the Air
Best Actor: George Clooney (Up in the Air), Morgan Freeman (Invictus)
Best Actress: Carey Mulligan (An Education)
Best Supporting Actor: Woody Harrelson (The Messenger)
Best Supporting Actress: Anna Kendrick (Up in the Air)
Best Director: Clint Eastwood (Invictus)
Best Animated Feature: Up
