"Isang Komedya Sa Langit" is a captivating historical fiction comedy set in Spanish-occupied Philippines during the late 1800s.  Written by Rossana Hwang, the movie is based on the novel “The Lost Saints” with the same author.

The story follows four priests — Fathers Garcia, Borromeo, Salas, and Pascual — caught in the turmoil of the soldiers’ Mutiny.  

While Father Pascual escapes arrest, the others are unjustly accused of rebellion and sentenced to death.  During their execution, a solar eclipse miraculously transports the three priests to the year 2024.

Mistaking modern Metro Manila for heaven, the bewildered priests soon discover that they are revered as saints in this new world.  

Cinematography by Tejay Gonzales, production design by John Luis Cantila, editing by Jason Cahapay, musical score by Ian Joseph Tan, visual effects by Aldo Aguilar, and directed by Roi Paolo Calilong.
