"Transformers: The Last Knight" Movie Review: There are Flaws but Not a Bad Movie

The Transformers franchise has never been treated into a mythology or legend before (I mean, up to this level) that is why I think this latest Transformers: The Last Knight movie has something to be enjoyed or be curious about as you watch the film. Those fans of legends or myths becoming or turning into action film reality will probably enjoy this kind of movie.

Just imagine, this year alone (2017), there will be at least three movies with King Arthur references in it (is it really his year?) that are going to be shown in movie houses or were shown already. The first one was "King Arthur: The Legend of the Sword", the second is this movie, "Transformers: The Last Knight", and the third one will be shown a little bit later, which is the "Kingsman: The Golden Circle". What's up Hollywood?

Anyway, "Transformers: The Last Knight" is not really a bad movie. It's lengthy, yes, and perhaps there are some scenes that we already know what's happening and not needed to be extended, and perhaps some scenes that are  not necessary at all, but it's not that bad at all. I mean, hello, Prime having a sword is awesome already in its own nature, and oh... surprise, surprise for Bumblebee as well! Who am I to complain?

The movie has all the elements and ingredients that we are looking for in an action-adventure themed movie --- bad ass lead actor, explosive action scenes, and fighting bad ass robots --- I mean, what else can you ask for? Story-wise, the plot of "Transformers: The Last Knight" is better than the previous one. When you watch it, your eyes will be offered with a feast of astonishing special effects. Michael Bay's directorial lead, as always is as explosive as his previous masterpieces. But this one surprisingly has this feel of something galactic going on.

The movie is trying to be majestic and fantastic as well, and I think just by watching all the visuals, it met all the standards. "Transformers: The Last Knight" may have failed in terms of being legendary, but it is memorable and that last credit scene has something to look forward to, perhaps a connection to the succeeding Transformers movie franchises.

Overall, "Transformers: The Last Knight" is a great movie experience especially if watched in IMAX Theaters. You'll never be disappointed with the CGIs and all the computer graphics technology. An 8 out of 10 movie experience you should not miss this long weekend. Enjoy the movie!
