Movie Review: xXx: Return of Xander Cage

"xXx: Return of Xander Cage" is an excellent high-octane action film. It personifies excitement and daring stunts from start to finish. One American action hero plus Asian superstar counterparts equals to one explosive movie event you shouldn't  miss on the big screen. A perfect movie to be seen on SM IMAX 3D.  A 9 out of 10 movie experience.

What we enjoyed in the film is the blow by blow action sequence that would keep your adrenaline pumping. This is truly an action film that continues the signature xXx franchise formula. The mind blowing stunts are just too exhilarating to explain (You should watch it for yourself). The cast is amazing although we felt a little mismatch on Toni Collette's character. We felt that her acting is a bit predictable for the role and anti climactic. We enjoyed the fight scenes, especially that special fight between Vin Diesel and Donnie Yen. Ruby Rose was stunning and classy as ever. Deepika Padukone impressively delivered her action scenes with the right amount of sexy and fierce.

The location shoots of "xXx: Return of Xander Cage" are also surprising as it shifts from one destination to another. Overall the film probably targets a big male fandom, the film is about explosions, guns, less talk and sexy ladies.

xXx: Return of Xander Cage, the third explosive chapter of the blockbuster franchise that redefined the spy thriller finds extreme athlete turned government operative Xander Cage (Diesel) coming out of self-imposed exile and on a collision course with deadly alpha warrior Xiang (Rogue One's Donnie Yen) and his team in a race to recover a sinister and seemingly unstoppable weapon known as Pandora’s Box. Recruiting an all-new group of thrill-seeking cohorts, Xander finds himself enmeshed in a deadly conspiracy that points to collusion at the highest levels of world governments.
