Movie Review: "Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse"

"Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse" grinds and blends unexpected gruesome panic and sexy-comedic humor. The film is a cross between "Resident Evil" and "Scary Movies" executed with witty lines and scenarios plus brilliant special effects. The film receives instantaneous reactions from the gore and puns effortlessly.

There have been a little explanation on whatever is causing the zombie apocalypse and why the affected humans behave that way after being bitten by an infected host. But who cares? The main goal of the film is to raise the adrenaline of the audiences with bloody killings and savagery. The humor might not appeal to a large audience but it's impossible not to laugh at some of the hilarious moments in the film.

Most of the parts are predictable but enjoyable. The cast is a mix of contrasting individuals effective in these kind of teen-horror-comedy films (a group of teenage boys + sexy ladies + terrifying monsters). Probably a good film to enjoy with friends who enjoy the similar genre.

Packed with blood-soaked gags and inappropriate humor, “Scouts Guide” is said to be equal parts gory horror and raunchy comedy, pulling no punches on both grounds.
