Quezon City International Film Festival 2015 (#QCinema2015): Screening Schedules

The Quezon City Film Development Commission (QCFDC) of the local government of Quezon City headed by Mayor Herbert Bautista, is bringing this once-in-a-lifetime movie event --- the Quezon City International Film Festival 2015 (QCinema2015). The QCinema 2015 is a film showcase and competition to local and international mainstream and independent movies to be held from October 22 to October 31, 2015 in various film venues around Quezon City.

Quezon City is said to be home to major film and television corporations and educational institutions, that is why through the City Ordinance No. SP-1690, S-2006, Quezon City has now become the only local government unit in the Philippines to have its own Commission for all its film-related programs and activities through the QCFDC.

Through QCFDC, the city provides logistical, technical, and financial support to enable filmmakers, actors, writers, producers, editors, and other media practitioners to hone their craft. In this way, the city ensures the continued progress of its media industries and sustained development of its residents in maintaining Quezon City’s status as the country’s filmmaking capital.
