"Taklub" Movie Starring Nora Aunor To First Be Shown in Select SM Cinemas Only!

After the successful international screenings this year such as the British Film Institute and the Cannes Film Festival, the Brillante Ma Mendoza masterpiece and Nora Aunor-starrer movie, "Taklub" finally got a Philippine movie screening schedule in select SM Cinemas.

First featured as the opening film in the recently concluded Cinemalaya 2015, "Taklub" will now have its limited engagement commercial release in five (5) different SM Cinemas including SM North Edsa, SM MegaMall, SM Manila, SM Fairview, and SM Sta. Mesa. The limited run of "Taklub" movie will happen starting September 16, 2015.

"Taklub" Summary/Synopsis/Plot

"Taklub" chronicles the life of Typhoon Yolanda victims after the devastating wrath-of-nature event that happened in the City of Tacloban in the Province of Leyte. "Taklub (Trap)" movie is an advocacy film, which literally translates to "to cover" is also the 'action' done by some of the survivors to somehow "cover up" the devastating life that they have suffered and show to people how they try to cope up with the unfortunate tragedy that they have encountered by holding on to faith, giving and sharing hope to other people, and letting go of the past and move on.

"Taklub" is led by Ms. Nora Aunor with Julio Diaz, Lou Veloso, Aaron Rivera, Ruby Ruiz, Soliman Cruz and many more. Directed by Brilliante Ma Mendoza, "Taklub" is set to be shown on September 16, 2015 in select SM Cinemas only. Below is the official movie trailer of "Taklub".
