"The Judge" follows the life of big shot lawyer Hank Palmer (played by Robert Downey, Jr.), who reluctantly returns to his childhood home when his mother dies. However, when he returned there, he discovers that his estranged father (Robert Duvall), the town’s judge, is being investigated for murder. So the man who abandoned their family years ago now finds himself having to reconnect with the man he’s been trying to avoid his whole life.
