Jamie Foxx to Star in Mike Tyson Biopic Movie

It's no less than Mike Tyson himself who suggested that Jamie Foxx could play his life story as one of the greatest boxers of all time in a biopic movie that has no title yet. Writing the script for the movie is Hollywood screenwriter, Terence Winter (The Wolf of Wall Street) and is speculated to be directed by Martin Scorsese. Foxx' manager is also eyeing the said project and hopes that his talent will get the meaty role.

Mike Tyson's career as a boxer has it's ups and downs. His boxing career started strong but began losing control when he lost his heavyweight title in the 1990s. After that incident, he was found guilty of rape, went back to boxing but loses to Evander Holyfield (where he bit his opponent's ear) and to Lennox Lewis, and experienced bankruptcy. He even loss his young daughter and continued to be in some form of trouble.

As of this press time, it is not clear where on Tyson's 30-year career will Terence Winter begin this biopic story because of plenty of materials to begin with. (Photo courtesy of thesource.com)
