The Philippines Wins Two Asian Film Awards Trophies!

The winners for the 6th Annual Asian Film Awards have finally revealed as the award-giving body concluded yesterday in Hong Kong. The Philippines bagged two trophies including the Best Supporting Actress Award for Sharmaine Buencamino for her stunning performance for the film Niño, and the People's Choice Award for Best Actress which goes to Eugene Domingo for her outstanding performance in "Babae sa Septic Tank" (The Woman in Septic Tank).

In her speech during the awards night, Eugene Domingo thanked the Filipino people and those who have watched her film for voting her as the winner. Eugene's funny and proud moments during her thank you speech with Andy Lau, People's Choice for Best Actor, are nothing but epic!
