20th Century Fox releases "Rio" Sneak Peak Previews

From the same animation company that brought you the "Ice Age" series comes another big animal adventure of a rare Blue Macaw bird named, Blu. Released by 20th Century Fox, "Rio" is the story of Blu, a rare Blue Macaw, and Jewel, as they travel back to the magnificent Rio de Janeiro, and find themselves fall for each other. Blu is voiced by "The Social Network's" Jesse Eisenberg while Jewel, is voiced by Anne Hathaway of "Love and Other Drugs".

"Rio" synopsis/summary/plot

"Rio" is a 3-D animation film which story focuses on the rare Blue Macaw bird named Blu (Jesse Eisenberg) and his adventure, which is set in the magnificent city of Rio de Janeiro and the lush rainforest of Brazil. Blu thinks he is the last bird of his kind. But when Blu discovers there's another one - and that she's a female - he leaves the comforts of his cage in small town Minnesota and heads to Rio.

But it's far from love at first sight between the domesticated and flight-challenged Blu and the fiercely independent, high-flying female, Jewel (Anne Hathaway). Unexpectedly thrown together, they embark on an adventure of a lifetime, where they learn about friendship, love, courage, and being open to life's many wonders. "Rio" brings together a menagerie of vivid characters, a heart-warming story, colorful backdrops, energizing Latin and contemporary music, and family-friendly song and dance numbers.
