The official list of the 26th PMPC Star Awards for Movies (2010) nominees has been released recently by the Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) members. The long list of nominees for the PMPC 2010 is composed of different movie genrés from different movie producers of the mainstream and indie cinemas. The movies that were included in the list of nominees were apparently shown in movie theaters last year (2009) and some of them made it to the international screenings and on different festivals here and abroad.

It will be remembered that the indie movie, "Ded Na Si Lolo" was our official entry to the OSCARS' Best Foreign Film Category. However, the movie did not make it on the OSCARS' shortlist of nominees on that film category. This year, "Ded Na Si Lolo" made it to shortlist of nominees in the 26th PMPC Star Awards for Movies, Digital Film Category. Will the movie make this time to win in this award-giving body? From the official list of nominees below, looks like this will be a very tough fight for all the movie producers out there who produced their movies last year. I can say that the movies included in the 26th PMPC Star Awards for Movies nominees are very impressive indeed! On with the fight!
