Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland" is an upcoming fantasy film that will be released by Walt Disney Productions on March 2010. The movie is topbilled by great character actor Johnny Depp and stars newcomer Mia Wasikowska who plays Alice in the film.

Alice in Wonderland Movie Summary/Synopsis

Alice in Wonderland will take you to an adventure where the main character Alice (Mia Wasikowska) goes back to Wonderland when she followed a white rabbit into a hole but never imagined she has been there before.

Wonderland has been changed a lot since Alice left it several years ago. It is now governed by the evil Red Queen (Helena Bohnham Carter) who made a great life for herself and made everybody else's miserable. Not knowing what she was doing in Wonderland, Alice meet her 'old-time' friend the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp) to plan how to save Wonderland from the evil Red Queen. While in Wonderland, Alice will having a self-discovery adventure together with her friends in Wonderland.

The new movie by Tim Burton is an extension of Lewis Carroll's original story Alice's Adventures in Wonderland with a touch of Through the Looking Glass adventures.
